We still have one more week of the FIFA World Cup, but we’re already feeling nostalgic for the US men’s soccer team. Although their championship run has come to an end, the excitement of soccer is far from over for Chicagoans.
When you set foot at a Chicago Fire FC game, you can feel a wave of energy that makes the experience unforgettable—and they have plenty of games to attend this summer. However, this week, the team is hosting a special event that’s perfect for curing your impending post-World Cup blues.
Chicago Fire sets Homecoming Night match with a post-game performance
On Thursday, July 16, Chicago Fire FC will host a Homecoming Red Out event as they return from their mid-season break in MLS, featuring the potential debut of Robert Lewandowski. They are scheduled to play against the Vancouver Whitecaps, the 2025 Western Conference champions.
The event will include a Foam Finger giveaway and various festivities throughout the evening, culminating in a live performance by the musical duo Two Friends after the game.
