Yes, like you, we’re disappointed that the world’s largest soccer tournament is not being held in Chicago. While we might not be able to watch the games in-person, we have the next best thing—watch parties!
Next month, for the World Cup, Chicago’s MLS Club is launching the Chicago Fire Soccer Celebration at Recess.
From June 11 to July 19, Recess will stream every FIFA World Cup 2026™ match.
This six-week fan zone will host surprise musical guests, limited-edition merchandise drops from local artists like Sentrock, Louis de Guzman, and Runsy, special appearances from Chicago Fire FC players and coaches, and chances to win exclusive prizes, including a “guesstimation” car game for a shot at a free car.
Recess is launching a free six-week World Cup celebration
If you’re looking to attend, accommodations range from premium group cabanas elevated on Recess’ iconic cargo containers to prime indoor and outdoor tables, as well as standing-room space for walk-ins if capacity allows.
