The first-ever Chicago Fashion Week (CFW) is just days away, and the full lineup of events is finally here!
The 12-day series will highlight local fashion designers, brands, and retailers in a creative showcase like nothing the Windy City has ever seen.
The inaugural Chicago Fashion Week includes more than 50 fashion shows, award programs, retail markets, galas, and educational workshops. All events are open to the public, with some requiring tickets and pre-registration to attend.
Highlights of the programming include the following events.
“A Celebration of Chicago Style” | Oct. 9, 6-10 p.m. |Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street
An evening of fashion presented by The Curio, featuring designs from some of Chicago’s top fashion designers including Barbara Bates, Chelsea B., Christina Karin, Gina Fente, I Am Studios, Justin LeBlanc, Maria Pinto, and Sheila Rashid. Purchase tickets here.
Create vs. Consume: A Culinary Fashion Experience | Oct. 11, 6-9 p.m. | Stan Mansion, 2408 N. Kedzie Boulevard
“Create Vs. Consume” is an immersive multi-sensory experience from the Chicago Fashion Coalition. The event invites guests to the beautiful Stan Mansion in Logan Square for a night of fashion and culinary arts exploration. Attendees will have the chance to view contemporary designs, interactive exhibitions, and purchasable garments. Purchase tickets here.
Chicago Fashion Showcase | Oct. 17, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. | Union Station, 225 S. Canal Street
The Chicago Fashion Showcase is an all-day couture experience at historic Union Station. Guests will enjoy runway shows, pop-up shops, live entertainment, and art in celebration of the local fashion industry. RSVP here.
Niczka Fashion Show | Oct. 17, 7-10 p.m.| Roof on theWit, 201 N. State Street
Local luxury clothing brand Niczka will debut its winter clothing collection on the Wit Rooftop with the Chicago skyline as the backdrop. RSVP here.
