Thought winter in Chicago was essentially over? Think again!
Another blast of arctic air is headed our way early next week, bringing sub freezing temps and snowfall with it.
Here’s a look at the forecast.
Snow early next week, highs in the 20s Monday and Tuesday

Following a bout of rain and a high of 60 degrees Sunday, weather conditions in Chicago will take a drastic turn for the colder.
Temps will fall to just 26 degrees Sunday night, with rain turning into snow.
Monday’s will see an 80% chance of snowfall until 1 p.m. with a high of just 28 degrees. Snow showers are possible into the evening hours as temperatures drop even further to an overnight low of only 14 degrees.
Come Tuesday, Chicagoans can expect a high of only 26 degrees.

Luckily, this cold spell will be relatively short lived. By Wednesday, the daily high will be back up to 44 degrees.
So hang in there and hunker down, Chicago—we’ve got a brutal couple of days ahead, but spring-like weather will be back before we know it!
