Chicago is in for its first cold blast of the season early next week—and we might even see some snow flakes.
Here’s what the radar is showing.
Sub-freezing temps arrive Sunday night

The remainder of this week is marked by daily highs in the high 50s to low 60s, according to the National Weather Service. Come the end of the weekend however, things will take a turn for the frigid.
Temperatures will plummet to a low of 32 degrees Sunday evening, according to the NWS.
Models from the Weather Channel show a high of just 37 degrees Monday in Chicago, followed by an overnight low of only 27 degrees.
Could Chicago see its first snow of the season?

Some weather models are showing a slight potential for snowfall late Sunday into Monday. However, any snow that does materialize will be minimal—think a few flurries if anything.
So in short, don’t break out the snow shovel just yet Chicago, but be sure to keep your winter coat handy!
