Thought this weekend’s snowfall was the worst of it? Think again.
The Windy City could see a bout of blowing snow Monday night, followed by multiple days of single-digit temps.
Here’s a breakdown of this week’s forecast and what to expect.
Blowing snow tonight, near zero temps on the way

Monday saw frigid temperatures in the Windy City, with a high of just 10 degrees, and wind chill values as low as -9, according to the National Weather Service.
Tonight, the thermometer will drop to just 7 degrees and a round of snowfall could hit between midnight and 5 a.m. Areas of blowing snow (loose, wind-boosted snow) are possible as wind gusts reach up to 20 mph.
Come Tuesday, additional flurries and patches of blowing snow are possible over the course of the day. The high will top out at just 14 degrees, while the overnight low will plunge to just 2 degrees.

Highs will hover in the mid-teens Wednesday through Friday, with partly sunny skies and overnight lows around 5 degrees.
By the weekend, a slight warm-up is in store, with daily highs climbing to the mid-low 20s range.
All in all, it’s looking like another cold and snowy week ahead in Chicago. Be sure to stay indoors, turn up the heat, and hunker down, because winter is far from over!
