Chicagoans are no strangers to the city’s vibrant street art scene. Now, a new survey has made it official—Chicago ranks among the best street art destinations in the world!
Gaming site Slingo ranked Chicago number 10 in an international roundup of Top Ten Destinations for street art.
The results reflect data gathered from social media traffic and Google search volume. According to Slingo, Chicago has a total of 360,194 social media posts and 19,510 Google searches relating to graffiti and street art.
According to the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events’ Mural Registry, the Windy City is home to over 400 murals, with countless other works of street art decorating the city.
