The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is taking aim at the teen vaping epidemic with a new incentive: quit e-cigarettes and earn a $2,500 scholarship.
The CDPH’s “Me & Nic Broke Up” campaign aims to educate Chicago youth about the dangers of vaping while rewarding students who commit to a nicotine-free lifestyle.
Chicago-based teens who register for the initiative will be eligible for a limited number of scholarships to support their education.
Registration is open now through May 31.
