Food truck season is back, Chicago—the 2026 Chi Food Truck Fest kicks off its 11th edition at Daley Plaza this week.
Here’s everything to know about this year’s event.
2026 Chi Food Truck Fest
The Chi Food Truck Fest will run every Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m, from May 15 through October 2.

- June – 5, 12, 17*(Wednesday), 26
- July – 1*(Wednesday), 10, 17, 24, 31
- August – 7, 14, 21, 28
- September – 4, 11, 18, 25
- October – 2
The weekly event highlights a rotating lineup of some of Chicago’s finest food trucks.
More than 40 vendors are on deck for the 2026 lineup, offering brick-oven pizza, barbecue, soul food, espresso, and other cuisines.
Its the perfect opportunity to enjoy some leisure amidst the hustle of the downtown work week.
