Wrigleyville’s favorite over-the-top St Patrick’s Day pop-up has returned offering a glorious day of giddy green shenanigans in the build-up to the famed St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Chicago.
Charm’d Bar, the most magical Irish pop-up in the city, has once again taken over the second-floor space at 3505 N Clark St which recently transformed from Deuce’s Major League Bar into the new island-inspired tiki bar “Bamboo Club”.
The Irish have observed St. Patrick’s Day for over 1,000 years and though today St. Patrick’s Day is a tradition around the world, it is nearly always celebrated in the same jubilant way the Irish do it. How is that you ask? With music, drinking, dancing, and, of course, a whole lot of green.
You’re guaranteed to find all of that and more at Wrigleyville’s Charm’d (aka The Magical Irish Pop-Up) where an enchanting, multi-level experience with an exorbitant amount of St Patrick’s Day decorations awaits.
Guests can expect a spectacular explosion of Irish decor and fun photo-ops spread across multiple bars as well as a sublime St Patrick’s Day menu offering an impressive array of themed drinks and snacks.
Various themed cocktails and shareables come in small, medium, and mega sizes all decadently garnished and packed full of flavor while boozy milkshakes, shamrock shots, and numerous beers and seltzers provide plenty of options for all drink desires.
A plethora of 30 different plates of “Leprechaun Grub” ranging from spicey mozzarella sticks to Irish nachos and breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus offer plenty of food to keep you powering through.
It is the themed cocktails, however, that are by far the most mesmerizing. A “Unicorn Dream” cocktail comes with Vodka, Effen Blood Orange vodka, blue curacao, cotton candy, marshmallow lucky charms, and a unicorn lollipop.
The “Irish Mule” cocktail meanwhile, offers guests the chance to choose from 12 proper Irish whiskeys which are then mixed with lime juice, ginger beer, and mint and decorated with an Irish flag.
Charm’d Bar is located at 3505 N Clark St on the second floor of Bamboo Club.
