There are only a few more opportunities this summer to watch hot air balloons take to the sky—and this weekend is one of your last chances.
The Balloon Fest, an annual event in Centralia that feels like a trip to another country, features over 30 hot air balloons soaring through the sky. This year, the event is moving to Fairview Park.
The festival will take place all weekend—and you can look forward to everything from evening flights, tethered rides, and the signature Balloon Glows to the park being transformed into a dazzling landscape. Approximately 35 pilots will participate, showcasing crowd favorites such as “Como Se Llama,” “Boo!,” and the Freedom Flight IV POW/MIA balloon.
The new Fairview Park provides the perfect backdrop for this free community event, with complimentary parking available thanks to a partnership with Fairview Park Plaza.
Besides the balloon fest, the park offers other amenities for families to enjoy throughout the weekend, including playgrounds, sports courts, an American Ninja Warrior-style course, horseshoes, volleyball, and a skatepark.
