Love means something different depending on who you ask. For some, it’s cheesy romance and grand displays of affection. For others, it’s platonic love between friends and family that’s most important. Whatever love means to you, celebrate it with a Candlelight Valentine’s Day concert in Chicago. Thousands of candles, live music and a soothingly romantic atmosphere — we’re pretty sure that Aphrodite herself would approve.
This February, Candlelight is celebrating the season of love with classical tributes to our favorite love songs. They hit the nail on the head about what a roller coaster of emotions it can be. From Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet (Fantasy Overture)” to “Love Story” by Taylor Swift and “Kiss from a Rose” by Seal, these tunes really know how to tug at the heartstrings.
