Have you been walking around Streeverville this week? Chances are you’ve noticed a giant orange crate in front of the Tribune Tower, and (there’s even a higher probability) you’re wondering what it is.
The giant crate serves as a Call of Duty pop-up celebrating the return of the popular Warzone map, Verdansk.
On April 3, Call of Duty will share images of its desert crate on social media. In it, the company will reveal hidden battle pass codes and issue a riddle for a chance to win a “legendary prize.”
In addition to the loot drop box located in Chicago, three more crates are scattered around the globe, including in London, Los Angeles, and Paris.
Where can you visit the Call of Duty pop-up in Chicago?
You can visit the crate at 401 North Michigan Avenue, and players who take a selfie with the hashtag #VerdanskReturns and scan a QR code will receive in-game perks, along with exclusive Return to Verdansk merchandise.
How long will the Call of Duty pop-up be in Chicago?
The pop-up will be in Chicago until the Warzone map, Verdansk, goes live on Thursday, April 3.
