When we picture high afternoon tea, usually it’s Kate Middleton—or any member of high society—that often comes to mind. Typically, they’re dressed in elegant outfits, such as long pencil skirts paired with sleek blouses, sipping tea with their pinky fingers raised. Yet, high tea isn’t just for the royals with slim pinkies—it’s for everyone. And if you’re looking for a high tea with more booze and levity than strict etiquette, we have the spot for you.
Casa Chi is debuting a unique twist on the classic tradition this weekend. The Pour Decisions Boozy Tea experience will reimagine traditional teatime with a lively Nikkei fusion experience, complete with live entertainment each week. It’s the perfect way to kick off the spring season in Chicago.
What’s included in the Pour Decisions Boozy Tea experience?
The experience includes a three-course shared menu that starts with prosecco and a signature cocktail teapot for each guest. These teapots are filled with creative concoctions such as:

Hibiscus Paloma Punch:
A refreshing mix of hibiscus tea, mezcal, grapefruit tonic, lime, and agave.
Earl Grey Breeze:
A combination of vodka-infused Earl Grey tea, elderflower liqueur, lemonade, and cranberry juice garnished with dehydrated lemon, elderflower, and dry ice.
Chamomile Coconut Cooler:
A tropical fusion of coconut rum, chamomile tea, coconut water, lime, and honey, garnished with a lime wheel and toasted coconut.
