The Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) is turning into a cinematic haven for design enthusiasts from January 31 to February 4 with the return of the Architecture & Design Film Festival.
This five-day event will showcase 20 carefully curated films celebrating architectural innovation and creativity from around the world.
Featured works will highlight Chicago’s legendary design legacy, including the legacy of architect Mies van der Rohe.
The festival will also take audiences on a global journey, exploring awe-inspiring locations from Copenhagen to São Paulo and beyond.
“We are excited to bring the Architecture & Design Film Festival to Chicago for its third year,” said CAC CEO and President Eleanore Gorski in a statement.

“This festival is an important way for us to engage the public and highlight the transformative power of design…We hope that these perspectives inspire Chicagoans to reflect on and actively participate in shaping the role design plays in our communities.”
Tickets are $20 per film, and include access to an array of short films accompanying the feature screenings.
It’s the perfect way to brighten a winter day in Chicago while immersing yourself in a world of art, design, and culture.
