Amtrak’s Travel Tuesday Sale: What to Know
During Amtrak’s Travel Tuesday Sale, travelers can enjoy 25% off multiple select routes from Chicago.
The discount applies to trips booked by December 3rd for dates between Jan. 5 and Mar. 15, 2026.
Here’s a look at the routes available to Chicago travelers:
- Chicago to Los Angeles – $130 each way
- Chicago to New York City – $67 each way
- Chicago to St Louis – $29 each way
“Travel Tuesday is the perfect time to plan ahead and kick off the new year with big savings on future trips,” said Amtrak Executive Eliot Hamlisch in a statement.
“Amtrak continues to make travel more comfortable and convenient, offering spacious seating with no middle seat, without the stress of airport security lines or traffic.”
