If you’ve been shopping for groceries at Amazon Go or Amazon Fresh, you’ll need to find a new store soon.
According to NBC Chicago, more than a dozen grocery stores across Illinois will close as Amazon shuts down all of its Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh locations on February 1st.
However, customers can continue to shop Amazon Fresh online in available areas, as the online retailer plans to focus on grocery delivery instead.
Some of the closing locations will be converted into Whole Foods Market stores, and Amazon is also working on a new “supersized” store concept.
