Your next November night out could come with a world-class soundtrack—and tickets starting at $39. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra will take the stage at Symphony Center on November 19, 20, and 21, 2026, with all three performances beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Jaap van Zweden will lead the orchestra, joined by violinist Vadim Gluzman, for an evening featuring Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, Rachmaninov’s sweeping Symphony No. 2, and Julia Wolfe’s new work, Liberty Bell.
What’s on the program?
The evening brings together Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, featuring Gluzman, and Rachmaninov’s sweeping Symphony No. 2. Also on the program is Wolfe’s Liberty Bell, a new work inspired by the historic bell’s symbolism of freedom and perseverance.
The concert runs approximately two hours and 10 minutes. Ticket holders can also attend a free preconcert conversation with LaRob K. Rafael in Orchestra Hall. The talk begins 75 minutes before each performance, lasts approximately 30 minutes, and requires no additional ticket.

How much are tickets?
Tickets purchased directly through the Chicago Symphony Orchestra start at $39, including fees.
That’s a starting price, not a flat rate for every seat, so check available seating and the final total when booking.
