If you thought Chi-beria was here to stay, think again! Following a multi-day freeze and the first blizzard of the season, Chicago is scheduled to get a major warm-up this weekend.
But how long will the unseasonably toasty temps last? Here’s what we know.
Highs in the 70s this weekend
Daily highs in Chicago will hover in the upper 50s Wednesday and Thursday, before reaching 68 degrees Friday, according to predictions from the National Weather Service.
Saturday is when conditions really heat up, with a high of 71 degrees and partly sunny skies in store.

Unfortunately, the warm-up won’t last long. By Sunday, temperatures will be feeling a bit more seasonal with a high of 54 degrees. Highs will fall to the upper 40s by early next week.
